Birthday Berhof Families

Clan Dexaro

Sen Estennel (Priest of Desna, Elf M)
A travelling cleric overssing shrines of Desna, Sen has lived (and travelled) in the region for years. While he has never married, Sen has a number of children spread across the area. He recognises them all as his children, offers them support when he can, and encourages them to support one another.

Lord-Dominus, Sir Jorumi Dexaro (Laird of Hallbridges, Lord of the Eastern Province, Half-Elf M – age 50s)
The oldest (and, perhaps, the most talented) of the half-siblings, Sir Joromi started life as a military scout. He made his name (and his fortune) adventuring and then bought the titles of Baronet and Laird of Hallbridges as part of his ‘retirement’. He has been one of the most active members on the Noble Council and is the primary architect behind plans to develop Berhof.

Martha Ross (Herbalist, half-elf F – age 40s)
Born and bred in Kusnir, Martha tried to follow Jorumi’s example, but soon realised she wasn’t cut out for adventuring and moved back to her home town. Now she runs a successful business selling herbal (and occasional alchemical) potions, tinctures, remedies and charms.

Derwyth (Recluse – Half-Elf 40s)
A contemporary of Martha, Derwyth keeps himself to himself, and is not a well-known member of the family. Joromi and Martha know him, but there is little contact. Younger members of the family have never met him.

Frank Holloway (Innkeeper (The Merchants Cup), Half-Elf M – age 30s)
Perhaps the least gifted of the siblings, Frank runs The Merchant’s Cup roadhouse in Ganaway (although it is part owned by his siblings Jorumi and Martha).

Lieutenant Sheila Brooks (Officer, Half-Elf F – age 20s)
One of the youngest Sibling, Sheila is the first to benefit from Jorumi’s influence. He made sure she got a good education, nurtured her in the Hallbridges guard, and then got her a commission in The Lord Governor’s forces at Castle Berhof. Now she holds the position of Reeve of Fanjir Station, with responsibility for the Northern Pass.

Fern. Half Elf ranger, member of the Hallbridges Militia and Adventurer. Recently appointed Warden of the East.

There are probably others, who haven’t yet come forward.

vanArthog Family

The VanArthog family are ‘Old Nobility’ who used to hold the hereditary role of Lord-Magister. As trade declined, that role went into abeyance and they were left with the minor title of Nobile. That said, Nobile is one of the highest-ranking title still valid in the Barony – even though it does not control any land.

Lady Celia vanArthog, Nobile (Councillor, Mage (Curiosity Shop), Human F)
Celia is the last of the VanArthog’s to bear the name. The oldest daughter of the late Cestus VanArthog, She is a redoubtable woman who only came into her title late in life. She has one son, Marvello vonArthog whom she has nominated as her heir.

Marvello vonArthog – Mage and Cleric of Nethys. Adventure and member of the Hallbridges Militia. He was recently given the title of Reeve of Kusnir and reassigned ownership of an old villa that used to belong to his family.

Ophelia Bligh (nee vanArthog) – Celia’s Sister and Marvello’s Aunt.
Married Ian Bligh (Human M) a well respected Horse breeder from Kusnir. Ophelia has minor arcane abilities but is renowned for her research into horse bloodlines.

Alicia Hart (nee vanArthog) – Celia’s Sister and Marvello’s Aunt.
Married Rufus Hart (Human M) the heir of an Old Blood farming family just outside Hallbridges. Alicia has some magical abilities; but has no real interest in the field.

There are others in the Family - but with more distant blood ties to Celia.

The Brawden Family

Sir Abel Brawden (Lord Governor, Human M)
Was appointed to the Castle Garrison many years ago, as a junior officer, and felt at home in the region. He is one of the few officers who was prepared to stay up here. Slowly he has worked his way up through the ranks and now holds the position of Lord Governor of Berhof. He married a local girl called Sally Willow and represents The Duke of Krote on Berhof Council.

Alice Brawden (Laird of Lurnslye, Human F)
Given the title and responsibility after the village was sacked, and the main clerics from the Temple of Imbrex killed, by Ice Demons from the north.
