Ari's Birthday game will be held over the weekend 9-11 October. Kick off Friday evening, finish some time on Sunday (hopefully late morning / lunchtime)
last year we spoke about a Campaign, with the same characters returning year after year - so I am pleased to present you with the Berhof Campaign. Seeing as it is her birthday special - Ari gets first choice of character :) (I believe she is thinking of a Ranger) - after that, it is first come first served. There are background suggestions on the Berhof pages - but if you want to use a different background (or there is something missing) tell me and we can work it.
Standard character restrictions - Core or Base classes - but no Summoners or Gunslingers. I can be talked into allowing Alchemists (but you will have to make a case for it)
I would like a half orc, half elf druid
You might want to work something around the Holdren Forest in The Tannery States. I see that as on the edge of a civilsed area - plenty of space for interaction between Elves and Orcs there.
I was hoping to play a half-orc, too (orc/human, though! ;)).
Probably a frontline fighter, support-caster. (Barbarian/oracle?)

That works OK for me - I would suggest that you look at the neigbouring area of Holden on this page for a background. I can see a half-orc barbarian oracle starting in Zorfu - but perhaps needing to 'move on' from there :)
Holden and Zorfu are both customisable, within the general descriptions given :)
Leighton … just wondering if you had any thoughts on what your 1/2 Orc Barbarian Oracle might look like? Male / female? What sort of weapon? Shield / no shield? I'm just trying to see if we have a figure that would suit and, if not, trying to find one that we can get painted in time. :)
I've just sent John a longer description by email, but in short, he's a male half-orc, and a big tough melee fighter primarily using a sword (the bigger the better) and shield. That said, he'll probably end up cycling through several weapons over the course of combat (handaxe, javelins, longbow, etc) as they get… spirited away, as it were.
Leighton - let me know which station you need picking up from and trai n times etc :)
I should be getting in to Fareham station tonight about 8.40-ish, Desna willing. :)
